Making Lights Tangible:

Hybrid of Sensational Lighting and Spatial Manipulation

光的實體化之 集合知覺性照明與空間再利用的混合操作

現代燈光照明常常廣義的被視為建築形式的一種，只是構建組合的方式和操作的元素不盡相同，因此也有人稱之為流動的建築。

The key:

How theatrical and dramatic lighting is communicated or operated by a designer about architecture gives meaning to and functions that architecture.

The context:

In Tadao Ando’s standpoint, he suggests that the nature should be drawn on after well-designed instead of primitive nature. It is believed that planting or artificial lighting is merely a solution to beautify the space while abstracting natural phenomena to the fullest extent anew the relationship between humans and their dwelling houses. Hence, what’s more important is to import images and mental perception that we have history with into the space. A great deal of effort has been made on spatial design. What seems to be lacking, however, is how lights have been altered and operated with sensation by theatrical lighting design skills when taking architecture into account.

二度遭祝融造訪之後，繁華一時的WEST PIER再也不復榮景，只遺留下滿地斑駁和在地人的懷古眷戀之情。而對住在離海邊三分鐘路程的我來說，這座莫名其妙被留下來的廢墟就成了我跟朋友相約剪燭夜話和舉杯邀月的最佳場所，唯一美中不足的就是每當黑夜來臨，遙遠的路燈完全無法顧及此處，也使得這個充滿傳奇的地景成了閒置空間的最佳典範。也因此，傳奇的地標天上的明月 在地的潮汐 就躍然紙上地成為我設計中操作的基本元素。

就建築和室內設計而言，系統照明已是未來的趨勢，也是綠建築中不可或缺的一環，而綠色照明所強調的調光照明系統(當用則用，當省則省)，相較於傳統照明的大明與大暗，不僅僅提供了各種預先擬定的氣氛模組(可集中於中央控制系統)，方便使用也更增添生活情趣;同時也可定時或使用感應器自動點亮所需燈火，除了防盜和免於摸黑開門的好處外，更能有效率的控制能源消耗。
